Chances of Equipment drops

The main runs to farm equipment are campaigns and castles and this is what is analysed here. The rarity of drops vary by run as follows:

Castles Common, Uncommon, Rare and Epic

Drop rates in campaigns and castles are better at higher difficulties, although the difference is quite marginal in castles. The estimated equivalent* drops are as follows

* An Uncommon drop is considered equivalent to 3 Commons, Rare to 9, Epic to 27

How to get more drops:

  1. The Battle Pass increase drop rates by 10% (and 20% for the Super BP)
  2. A hero with the Equipment Drop Chance in the skill tree increases drops by 50%
  3. Playing with Jackbot can get you drops from Jackpot procs (limited to 15/run, and only some of them will be equipment). This can happen almost anywhere - even in events where equipment normally does not drop (e.g. Daily elemental events, Endless waves, Gambit, Jetpack Heart Hunt). However Jackbot does not proc in Guild events.
  4. Gun dungeons are a good source (details) of the featured weapon but the drops and runs are limited.
