The main runs to farm equipment are campaigns and castles and this is what is analysed here. The rarity of drops vary by run as follows:

How to get more drops:
- The Battle Pass increase drop rates by 10% (and 20% for the Super BP)
- A hero with the Equipment Drop Chance in the skill tree increases drops by 50%
- Playing with Jackbot can get you drops from Jackpot procs (limited to 15/run, and only some of them will be equipment). This can happen almost anywhere - even in events where equipment normally does not drop (e.g. Daily elemental events, Endless waves, Gambit, Jetpack Heart Hunt). However Jackbot does not proc in Guild events.
- Gun dungeons are a good source (details) of the featured weapon but the drops and runs are limited.
