The shield generator is a premium gear that fits in your Right hand gear slot, does damage against Ranged enemies, and gives you the perk Safety Bubble. As long as the bubble is active your attack damage will increase by a certain percentage based on the rarity.
Note that things like Emergency Shell’s Safety Bubble on hit or the Shield skill tree will also grant this damage increase, the same goes for Shield Ward, the upgrade of Safety Bubble.
