Spending Gems

My recommendations:

  1. Get the Gemini Laser.

  2. Unlock Jackbot (but if you are buying the Super Battle Pass, you can get 10 Recruitment Posters in 1 to 2 seasons and it’s cheaper to unlock him that way).

  3. Unlock Premium Heroes - These are super expensive to unlock for Gems and unless you are spending a lot (either in buying Hero Recruitment Shards or buying Gems) I recommend not spending on them - you can still slowly unlock them via the Tower shop and Recruitment Posters from the SBP.

  4. Unlock more Premium Equipment.

  5. Unlock Premium Pets or open Boogie crates to level him to 4 stars. Remember, Boogie is not useful until 4 star.

  6. Daily Gun/Gear Dungeon refreshes. Now that you are able to select any weapon or gear that you have previously unlocked, refreshing these events is more worthwhile. If you don’t get the uncommon and rare item on your first 2 runs, you may refresh with gems to guarantee (unless you aren’t able to complete the run) both items.

  7. Daily Hero Event refreshes. If you are low on castle keys or want to go for more hero medals or crystals, you are able to refresh for 2 more runs with gems

Additional uses that might be appropriate if you’re spending money on the game.

  1. Obtaining more energy. It is frowned upon by most because gems are so valuable. If you are P2P and have gone through all of your energy and your daily ad refreshes, you do have the option to buy more energy. This is an expensive route, but if you are farming, this could possibly be justified by being able to obtain more gear, XP, coins, and resources from the runs.

About the Gemini Laser
The Gemini Laser is currently the overall best weapon in the game and comfortably outperforms the free guns even when at lower rarities. There are other Premium Weapons, such as Devastator, that might perform better, but they are very perk dependent. Gemini Laser continues to be the most well rounded and dependable weapon.

About Unlocking Premium Equipment
You could try your luck even if you don’t have enough gems for the guaranteed Epic at 50 opens. Purchasing a crate of 11 at a time is the best deal, but if you’re feeling like gambling, it is possible (although not too likely) that you could obtain the item on the first open. The game also saves your progress to the guaranteed item after 50 opens, so you no longer have to worry about having to start over the next time the crates come around.
