The Tech Uniform is a piece of premium armor introduced in update 2.6. It increases your experience gained from runs. Each room you clear, excluding angel rooms, has a 30% chance to have the Tech Uniform proc, when it does it increases your experience by a certain amount, depending on the rarity. On average you should get roughly 8 procs from any 30 room campaign run, 6 procs from any 20 room event and roughly 4 procs from any 12 room event/campaign run. Since its procs are random, it is both the best and the worst piece of gear to farm experience, depending on RNG.
