This is my (AI Georgio’s) personal guide on how to improve your account
Everyone has their own methods and opinions but this is the methods we incorporated in the Infinity/ Eternal Asylum Guild which has helped us into [at time of writing] 3rd spot on the leaderboard. I hope this helps you get to that next level!
1) Character Setup
I generally run with two main setups - my farming setup and my damage setup as shown below. My damage setup changes slightly depending on what I am fighting (See screenshots at the bottom of this sub-section)
My farming setup is designed to give the maximum Player xp without compromising the amount of damage. As I can get a large amount of coins from running campaigns, I only selected the xp equipment and not the coin equipment
My damage setup gives me large damage output compared to my farming setup whilst giving me additional advantages such as; increased movement speed and jump height, faster pet attack speed (useful for Boogie’s void shots, and Celeste’s healing ability), and heavier damage whilst my shield is active
Gemini Laser is my most reliable weapon whereas Devestator has the ability to deal extreme damage but requires a perfect selection of perks. The other difference is my pet - Boogie’s ‘void shots’ deletes incoming shots if they connect my Boogie’s shots whereas Celeste ‘healing bite’ heals your character on every 10th pet shot
2) Character Unlock & Bonuses
The more characters you have unlocked, the more all-hero bonuses you can apply. The “all-hero bonus” are applied at character level 20, 50, and 90. You will need coins, crystals (of the hero type), and hero medals every 10th level. To reach level 20 you need 30 hero medals (10 at level 10 + 20 at level 20), and to reach level 50 you need 150 hero medals (10+20+30+40+50). Because of this, I recommend to get every hero up to level 20 first, then one-by-one bring each character up to level 50
When prioritising which order to upgrade your characters to level 20 & 50, consider the following; is this one of your main characters or a ‘spare’, and what are the “all-hero bonus” you’re unlocking?
My priority is this order:
1• Attack +x% and Attack +x
2• Damage to all enemies
3• Damage to ranged enemies, flying enemies, ground enemies
4• Attack speed
5• Critical chance, critical damage
6• Damage resistance, melee resistance, ranged resistance
7• Dodge chance
8• Health +x%, Health +x
3) Skill Trees
To get the “all-hero bonus” from a skill-tree, the hero in question need to be at 5 Stars and you need a minimum of 1,865 rings per hero which sounds a lot but these can be accumulated relatively easily by collecting hero shards of heroes at 5* or higher - each shard will convert to 5 rings and have a chance to convert to a super herp shard
Some heroes give you +100 attack which are the priority, others give you +100 health, and Jack-Bot gives you a +5% coin drop bonus
When going through the skill tree, it branches across two routes - the top and the bottom route. I personally always opt for the one that gives the attack boost (see screenshot below as an example)
4) Upgrades - Trials & Masteries
The Upgrades tab when optimised correctly can give you a huge advantage, and it all comes down to completing as many Trials as you can, and the correct distribution of your Mastery Points
You can buy some upgrades with each player level and I recommend to buy as many as you can afford, as soon as possible
Regarding Mastery Points, each tier transcends in the triangular number format - 1* is 1 Mastery point, 2* is 3 Mastery Points (1+2), 3*=6 Mastery Points (1+2+3) 4*=10 Mastery Points, 5*=15 Mastery Points. Each Trial completed grantes you 1 Mastery Point
The Veteran Upgrade grants you Battle XP (not to be confused with Player XP). Once you reach 100 Battle XP, you can unlock a second starting perk - see my Two Starting Perks guide for more details. If you can’t reach this feat, I would recommend placing it after the Melee & Ranged Resistance masteries. If you are 5* Mastery on Veteran and your Veteran level upgrades to a point where you are at 106 Battle XP or more, you can; reset it at the cost of 100 gems, bring it up to the required Mastery tier, and redistribute you spare Mastery Points potentially giving you up to 5 spare Mastery Points
My priority order is:
1• Good Shot & Gun Mastery
2• Armour Mastery & Gear Mastery
3• Nimble Hands
4• Melee Resistance & Ranged Resistance
5• Regen Mastery & First Aid
(Veteran cannot be universally prioritised as it is user dependant - see above paragraph for details)
Remember to watch the ad for the 1 hour Upgrade boost. You can stack up to 5 hours at a time. You can do this in a matter of seconds with the Infinite Ad-Free Card without having to watch any ads
5) Lifetime Cards
Cards are a paid for service which either give you 30-day boosts or indefinite boosts. The 2 indefinite boosts give you a huge advantage and I would personally recommend to acquire both as early as you can - these are Lifetime Ad-Free Card and Lifetime Gems Card. If you only wish to invest in one initially, there are seperate advantages to both:
The Lifetime Ad-Free Card means that you can claim 6x 5 energy per day, Ad Crates, Hidden Chests, the Ad Mega Chest each day, as well as the daily Metal Crate, and weekly Summon and Gold Crates - all without having to watch an advert. As well as this, you get a one-time 10,000 gems, and every day you receive 50 gems. With all of the crates you can claim per day without watching adverts can easily reach several hundreds of gems each day during your runs
The Lifetime Gems Card gives you 13,000 gems, and every day you receive 150 gems which equates to 4,200-4,650 gems each month. This is perfect for unlocking those luxury S-class heroes. This card also gives you a permenant 10% coin and Player XP bonus too
