The Starting Room and Angel Rooms can have Mystery Crates (visible TVs) and Hidden Treasures (it helps to know where they are and how to reach them without mobility perks) where you can watch an ad to get some benefit.
The Hidden Treasures are mostly useful for Farming (Coins, Gems, Energy, Upgrade Material or Hero Crystals) but can give a boost that helps you complete the current level (Heal, or a Perk) that varies based on where you are playing:

Apart from this, there’s ~13% chance of 5 Energy, a ~10% chance of getting Heal, and a ~20% chance of a random Perk
Need to reconfirm how Daily events and Castles match up. For me Castles match World 9 for Hidden Treasures and World 10 for Mystery Crates, but I’m not sure how it works for players who haven’t unlocked those worlds yet.
Suggested Strategy:
- It’s almost always useful to take it if you can get it, except perhaps at really low levels (eg if you go to World 1-3 for a BP task) where the rewards are meagre
- Even if you are not interested in the Farming benefits, it can be helpful in tough Endless / Castle floors because you have a chance of a free perk / Heal
- Some of them need Dwarf (World 7 Angel Room, World 5, Fey Friday, and Metal Castle) but I don’t recommend factoring this as a benefit when deciding whether to take Dwarf or not
